Regular exercise can be a healthy, enjoyable thing. Sometimes, however, exercise becomes excessive and may impact health, relationships, and a job in a negative way. Combined with eating disorder symptoms, excessive exercise can have devastating negative effects on an individual and on his/her relationships with family and friends.

  • Do you or someone you know feel agitated, anxious, or frustrated if you don't exercise?
  • Do you exercise despite injury or sickness?
  • Do you prioritize exercise over work commitments/social events/family activities?
  • Do you spend a lot of time researching diets, meal plans, and supplements to support your workout regime?

This support group is intended for those who are consumed by the need for physical activity and their family and friends.  Psychoeducational information, as well as helpful tools and techniques will be offered to help individuals develop a healthier relationship with exercise.

If you'd like, you are welcome to register a support person to attend with you.
